Truro & Colchester Chamber_- Festive Fireside Cranberry Christmas
Members of the Truro and Colchester Chamber of Commerce are welcome to join us for a special Festive Fireside Cranberry Christmas event ideal for a small business Christmas party. Enjoy a three-course meal presented in partnership by Warmth By Design and the Kilted Chef, as well as entertainment by well-known local comedian Mark Walker. Raging Crow will be providing cocktail options at a cash bar for the evening including serving bottles of wine for tables. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m., dinner served at 7 p.m. The cost is $80/ person or $450 per table of six seats. There is only a limited number of tickets available. Book by Nov. 10

The Atlantic Chamber of Commerce takes proactive steps to promote reconciliation and respect for Indigenous rights within the corporate sector. In response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Call to Action 92, the Chamber urges its members to embrace the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as a guiding framework.
Recognizing the importance of education, the Chamber encourages businesses to provide comprehensive training for management and staff on the history of Indigenous peoples, including the legacy of residential schools, Indigenous rights, and Aboriginal-Crown relations. Emphasizing intercultural competency, conflict resolution, and anti-racism, these efforts aim to foster a more inclusive and harmonious corporate environment rooted in mutual understanding and respect.
