McHappy Day 2025
McHappy Day® returns on Thursday, May 8, at McDonald's Canada. This special one-day fundraiser, in collaboration with its local franchisees, directs a portion of proceeds from all menu items, be it a Big Mac®, a McFlurry®, or anything in between, to Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) and other local children's organizations. On May 8, every bite counts, translating your favorite menu choices into real impact for families across Canada. What: Visit your local McDonald’s restaurant and enjoy your favourite menu items, knowing your purchase supports families in your community. Prefer to stay in? Order McDelivery® through the McDonald’s app, DoorDash, SkipTheDishes, or UberEats and enjoy free delivery. When: All day, Thursday, May 8 Where: Your local McDonald’s Canada Restaurant Get into the McHappy Day spirit early. Starting April 8, support families with sick children by grabbing a pair of McHappy Day socks for $6+tax, available in four McDonaldland character designs. You can also make a difference with a McHappy Day Heart donation of $2, $5, or $10. Both are available in-restaurant, at the Drive-Thru, through McDelivery, and on the McDonald’s App.

Business Truth & Reconciliation
The Atlantic Chamber of Commerce takes proactive steps to promote reconciliation and respect for Indigenous rights within the corporate sector. In response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Call to Action 92, the Chamber urges its members to embrace the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as a guiding framework.
Recognizing the importance of education, the Chamber encourages businesses to provide comprehensive training for management and staff on the history of Indigenous peoples, including the legacy of residential schools, Indigenous rights, and Aboriginal-Crown relations. Emphasizing intercultural competency, conflict resolution, and anti-racism, these efforts aim to foster a more inclusive and harmonious corporate environment rooted in mutual understanding and respect.
