    Dear Premier-Designate Holt:

On behalf of our network of 38 Chambers and 5,600 businesses in New Brunswick, the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce wishes to convey our congratulations to you on your election and becoming Premier of New Brunswick. At the same time, we want to offer the power of our network as a resource that can provide insight into how government and businesses can collaborate on the mutual goal of addressing the issues facing New Brunswick

Businesses are facing new challenges that are reflective of the issues in their community and province. While the cost of doing business and talent attraction will always be front of mind for a business, there are also matters of healthcare, housing, and public safety that are now equally as important to the private sector.
The Atlantic Chamber was pleased to see your prioritization of many of these issues while also committing to balancing the budget each year of your mandate. Balancing the budget while increasing affordability for businesses and residents will be crucial in ensuring that New Brunswick is a competitive province for the private sector.

The Atlantic Chamber looks forward to working with you throughout your term as Premier and wishes you success as we hope you lead New Brunswick into a future where both economic development and social well-being are prioritized.

    Sincerely,
    Rhonda Tulk-Lane
Chief Executive Officer, Atlantic Chamber of Commerce
